IGTO has designs for Design Exchange contest winner
The Israel Government Tourist Office’s (IGTO) Oded Grofman (r), consul and director for Canada, and Air Canada’s Tony Celio (l), manager, sales development, congratulate Richard Murray, the grand prize trip winner of a contest held by the Design Exchange in Toronto yesterday. The contest ran throughout the museum’s exhibition “From Mediterranean Traditional to Israeli Contemporary Design,” which wrapped up in June. Together with Peerless Travel and Cruises, the tourist board and the airline sponsored the grand prize of a trip for two to Tel Aviv. “The [reason] for offering the trip is to expose the winner to what Israel has to offer in terms of art, technology and culture,” said Jerry Adler, IGTO’s manager of marketing and public relations. These include a recently opened Design Museum in Holon, the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Sommer Gallery, and more. Air Canada offers daily service to Tel Aviv through the end of September, which is scaled back four or five flights per week during the winter season. (http://www.goisrael.ca)
