Putting the spotlight on its suppliers and agency partners, Vacation.com assembled some of its “Power of the Partnership” award winners at a gala ceremony held during its 12th international conference recently in Orlando. Winners were selected by Vacation.com’s members and included: Intair/Fun Sun as Air Consolidator partner of the year, RBC as Canada Insurance partner of the year, Globus Family of Brands as Escorted Tour Operator partner of the year, WestJet Vacations as Packaged Tour Operator partner of the year, Rocky Mountaineer as Rail/Ground Operator partner of the year, and GAP Adventures as Specialty Tour Operator partner of the year.
On the agency side, several Canadian members won awards: BMQ Travel Group, Travel Last Minute, and Travel Place International, all won the 2010 President’s Award; and Robert Q Travel was the recipient of the 2010 Chairman’s Award.
