Western Canada editor Ted Davis recently skied with Canadian Olympic icon, Nancy Greene-Raine at Sun Peaks Resort in BC. Last week, Greene-Raine carried the Olympic torch in the final stages of the torch relay in Kamloops, BC. Greene won Olympic gold and silver in alpine ski events at the 1968 Winter Olympic Games in Grenoble, and is one of Canada’s best known athletes -- not to mention the fact that she is also a senator.
