Air China increasing service between Vancouver, Beijing

 Air China, China’s national airline, is adding three more flights a week in addition to its daily non-stop flights from Vancouver to Beijing. The new flights will begin in June arriving in Vancouver on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Flights to Beijing will depart Vancouver in the early morning on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, using Airbus A330-200 aircraft. David Solloway, Air China Canada’s senior advisor, said, “Our goal is to stimulate both business and leisure travel to open up opportunities for Canadian companies to increase business in China and vice versa. While Beijing is an important destination in its own right, it is also a convenient connection hub for passengers who wish to travel beyond. Jet Airways on the move

Jet Airways and its wholly owned subsidiary, JetLite, are moving their international and domestic operations to the new Terminal 3 at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (GIA). International flights started operating out of the new terminal on July 28, with domestic flights to begin operations on Aug. 27. Cathay increases Toronto, Hong Kong service

Beginning Oct. 31, Cathay Pacific will add two more flights to its schedule between Toronto and Hong Kong, offering travellers a choice of 12 flights weekly between the two international hubs. Air Canada reports record load factor for June

For the month of June, Air Canada reported a record system load factor of 84.7% on a consolidated basis with Jazz (from which Air Canada purchases regional capacity), versus 80.9% in June 2009, an increase of 3.8%. AC set to double China lift

Cathay to increase Toronto/Hong Kong services

Cathay Pacific Airways is increasing its services to and from North America. From March 28, 2010 three flights per week will be added to the existing daily non-stop service between Toronto and Hong Kong. The additional services will depart Toronto at 9:35 a.m. every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, while the existing daily flights will depart at 1:30 a.m. from Toronto.
